The Wishbone Chair is a replica of a well known mid-century design, built here from oak with a hand woven paper rope seat. The paper rope is woven across the frame to form the seat surface, giving it a texture and flexibility that a solid timber seat does not have. Its open back keeps the chair visually light, which helps when a full set surrounds a dining table. The natural oak finish pairs easily with timber, marble and painted tables, so the chair suits a wide range of dining room styles. It arrives fully assembled, ready to use as soon as it is unpacked.
